Director of Golf, Muncie Booth

Muncie has been a Head Golf Professional for the past 28 years. His professional career started at the Mission Golf Course from 1978 until 1985, then from 1985 until 1992 he assumed the role of Director of Golf at the Chilliwack Golf Course. While at Chilliwack, he was the head instructor of the Copytron Junior Clinics, which were put on through the B.C. Golf Association. In 1992 he took over the position of Head Professional at the Langara Golf Course, and while still in that role, in 1999 he took on the additional role of Director of Golf at the McCleery Golf Course. He has been a several time Tournament Chairman for the Chilliwack Open, Mission Open and Mission Amateur. Muncie is a former member of B.C.'s Willingdon Cup Team, a former B.C. Assistants champion, a former B.C. Match Play champion, and a past director of the B.C.P.G.A. He is also the founder of the "Inner City Youth Golf Program", which he started in 1999 at the McCleery Golf Course, and has operated it at that location ever since. |

Mike Vanderwolf

Mike is recognized as a leader among teachers in Canadian Golf. In 2000, named British Columbia PGA Teacher of the Year, Mike also serves as Coordinator for the BCPGA Learning Centre held annually at the Vancouver Golf and Travel Show, is a Facilitor of the
Canadian PGA's Teaching and Coaching Certification Program and has been instrumental in the development of many local Professional's talents, such as 2003 BC Junior Champion Ryan Lidke and 2000 BCPGA Champion Bryn Parry, among others.
Formerly Director of Instruction at the Westwood Plateau Golf Academy, Mike has created programming at McCleery that helps players of all levels of experience and ability to further enjoy their golf, and works with hundreds of students of all ages throughout the year. |

Pat Dunn

Pat joined the CPGA in 1980, and immediately apprenticed for legendary Professional Alvie Thompson at the old McCleery Golf Course. From 1988 to 1998, Pat was the Director of Golf at the Mayfair Lakes Golf Course in Richmond, where he played an important role in the initial success of that course. While in that position, Pat sat on the Board, overseeing the Canadian Tour BC Open, while it was being played at Mayfair Lakes. He has been a Director of the BCPGA, and a Zone Representative for the national CPGA body, and has attained a PGA of America Teaching Certificate.
In 1999, Pat was hired as the Head Golf Professional at the McCleery Golf Course, and has been actively involved in the management of the course, in addition to his important role as one of our instructors. |

Phil Jonas

Phil was born in Johannesburg South Africa, where we achieved great success as a junior by winning the South African Junior in 1976, 78 and 79. Phil also captured the Titles of World Junior champion in his respective age group in San Diego, California in 1974 and 1976.
Phil attended Lamar University in Texas on a golf scholorship, where he was a 1st team All American in 1986. The following year, he successfully got through the very gruelling PGA Tour Qualifying school, and played the Tour full time. In addition, Phil was a member of the South African PGA Tour from 1986 to 1998, where he won the 1990 Goodyear Classic. He has been a member of the Canadian Tour for several years, is 5th in all time money winnings, and a former winner of the Quebec Tel Open. Phil is also a past member of the Asian and South American Tour, where he won the Peru Open in 1996 and 1997.
Locally Phil has won the BCPGA Championship in 2003, the Canadian Assistants in 2004, the BCPGA Assistants in 2004 and 2005, and was named BCPGA Player of the year in 2005.
Phil has also taken on the role of on course commentator for TSN/CTV during the 2005 Bell Canadian Open.
Phil joined our team of instructors at the McCleery Golf Academy in 2004, and has coaching Elite players who have competed on the US PGA Tour, European Tour and Canadian Tour. |

James Harper

James has been a member of the CPGA for 16 years. He comes from a family of well-known golfers from the Nanaimo area, who have won 9 different provincial championships. As a junior, James won both the BC Junior and the BC Amateur in the same year, as well as representing Canada on the Junior World Cup Team.
James played his college golf at Brigham Young University before turning professional in 1987. He then travelled the world, playing on the Canadian, Asian and Australian Professional Golf Tours. More recently James has won the 2005 BC Match Play Championship, the 2005 Chilliwack Open, and the 2005 Olympic Peninsula Pro-Pro.
In 1992, James decided to turn his attention to teaching and helping others learn the game of golf, and he gained valuable experience working for Bob Hogarth at the Royal Montreal GC, and for Tim Tait at the Marine Drive GC.
In 2002 James joined the team of instructors at the McCleery Golf Academy. |

Graham Kehoe

Graham is a graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy and Lethbridge College, where he majored in golf management and advanced methods of instruction.
Graham apprenticed for one year under the David Leadbetter Golf Schools, where he worked with PGA Professionals such as Brandell Chamblee and LPGA player Candi Kung. Working closely with Adam Schriber, Graham learned the Leadbetter teaching secrets, which apply to every level of player.
Graham has been a professional for ten years and is in his 5th year at the McCleery Golf Academy. Geared towards junior development, Graham has been creating successful golfers through clear communication and understanding of golf fundamentals. |

Sandra Comadina

Sandra has been a member of the CPGA for the past 12 years. During that time she has earned the reputation as one of BC's finest players, by winning the 1999 BCPGA Womens Championship, Low Club Professional at the 2001 Canadian PGA, a member of the 99 and 01 Titleist Cup, and a regular on the Canadian Women's Tour.
Sandra joined the McCleery Golf Academy in 1999, and has focused her attention on instruction for ladies and juniors.
Sandra recently became a mother by giving birth to a healthy baby boy, named Jake, in November of 2005. |
